Quran is the last book of Allah and it is the most sacred book for Muslims of the whole world. Being a Muslim, it is our duty to read the Holy Quran on daily basis. It not only solaces our heart but also tells us the way of spending our lives. It contains the solutions to all the problems that a man can face. There are endless benefits of reading the Holy Quran. But in this article, I am going to highlight 5 benefits and rewards of reading the Holy Quran.
Quran doesn’t only provide a solution to all of our problems but it will be very beneficial for us when we die. It is the saying of Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W), “Read the Quran, for verily it will come on the Day of Judgement as an intercessor for its companions.” (Sahih Muslim)
This Hadith of the Holy prophet (S.A.W.W) tells us that on the Day of Judgement, Holy Quran will be our advocate that will help us in going to Jannah.
Nowadays, everyone is suffering from depression, anxiety and restlessness. There is a large number of people who are victims of depression. It is because they are not reading the Quran. Reading the Quran is not like reading an ordinary book. It is a divine book that gives an incomparable calmness to the heart of a person. Allah says in the Holy Quran “Pay heed! Only in the remembrance of Allah is the solace of hearts!” (Surah Ra’d, Verse 28)
This verse of the Holy Quran describes the solution to depression by telling us that the solace of heart lies in the remembrance of Allah.
Allah has mentioned the solutions to all the problems in his nobel book. Holy Quran deals with each and every aspect of our lives and that is why we can find the solution of every problem in the Holy Quran. There is no aspect of life which is not mentioned in the Holy Quran. From personal life to social and business matters, Holy Quran guides us at each step of our life. That is why we should read the Holy Quran to understand the true purpose of life and get full essence of life.
While offering prayer, we are talking to Allah but when we read the Holy Quran, Allah is actually talking with us and giving his message to us. Holy Quran Contains the messages from where God is communicating with us. So if any person wants to talk to Allah, he should read the Holy Quran to understand what Allah is actually trying to tell him. It is the biggest source of guidance for a Muslim because anything taht is menyioned in the Holy Quran is purely the word of Allah.
Reading the Holy Quran gives a lot of benefits, one of them is that ten good deeds are added in your name. These can be hundreds of letters in each verse of the Holy Quran which means that you get unlimited amount of reward on reading the verses of Holy Quran. Besides that, there are some special days of the year where this reward is increased to many times. For example, reward of reading the Holy Quran on the night of 27th Ramadan (Laylatul Qadr) is multiplied with one thousand.
