"Indeed, there is a Surah in the Qur'an of thirty Ayat, which intercedes for a man till he is forgiven," It is [Surah] Tabarak Alladhi Biyadihil-Mulk.”.
(Abu Dawud 1400 and At Tirmidhi 2891, Grade: Hasan (Darussalam), English reference: Vol. 5, Book 42, Hadith 289)
According to this Hadees, the value of reciting Surah Mulk is comparable to having a buddy. These thirty verses will assist us in the same way that a close friend would, vouching for you (interceding) and begging forgiveness on your behalf.

"This surah grants deliverance from the torture of the dead."

During the time of Prophet Muhammad PBUH, this surah was known as Ma'ani (the preventive) because it protects believers from the fires of hell and Jahannum.

The Prophet Muhammad PBUH said:
“Recite the Quran as it will intercede on the day of judgment for its companions.” (Muslim)

"Whoever reads Surah al-Mulk every night, Allah will prevent the penalty of the grave by this Surah," says Abdullah bin Mas'ud.
